New Year, New Beginning, Best Wishes

At the beginning of every year many of us take new resolutions. We often see a new year as a new beginning to make our lives better and make our dreams come true. In this first post of the year 2016 my wishes for you is to be the best of you or rather built a better you.
I will never stop saying this, you have to be you. Look for who you are inside and be true that self. We are not just body, but also mind and soul. This year and the years to come, nourish every aspect of you
Don’t just feed your body, keep it fit, make it beautiful and as attractive as you feel, so much that you could fall in love with yourself every day. Many of us think that inside beauty is what really matter and it is true. However, we should acknowledge that we are given a body and should not neglect it because it is the first thing people come in contact with.

Secondly, feed your mind, intelligence. We all are smart, it just requires us to exercise our brains and feed it with good knowledge. Start reading on many topics of interest. We are at an era where you can surely find a book on any topic (or at least most). Choose one topic and educate yourself. Learn to play an instrument, or learn a new game or something new. It is never time wasted: learn something new this year. At the end of the year, you will feel good and proud to have acquired new skills.

Feed your soul. Be good and at peace with people around you. Try to be nice to people: it is not as demanding as you think, a smile or a compliment to a stranger can make someone’s day. If you cannot help anyone at least don’t harm people. Forgive the people who hurt you so you can move on. Learn to love those who hate you if anything to just make them angrier, envious about your own stability.
The last recommendation is: find yourself few smart and good principles of life and live by them. You can check the bible or other religious books for that.

That being said, would like to end by saying that nothing comes easily. It baffles me sometimes how we often can accept to go through some physical pain to look as good as we want. I am referring to the discomfort and pain for body fitness and beauty and yet when it comes to the emotional discomforts, we shy away forgetting that the only way to true growth and success is discomfort and pain. Like my grandmother says: beauty comes with a scorpion (literal translation of a kabye proverb) so if you are ready to be beautiful and successful, get ready to endure the pains and discomforts on all the aspects of a human life. Also, we are so picky about how we dress and what we eat and yet we have no filters to what goes into our mind

My gift to you is this book that i recommend. Give it a try, it is worth reading if you ask me.
